Rugged Sophistication
True to its innovative "Dual Concept", the Lexus GX 460 is perfectly at home in both the city and wilderness. Key to this flexibility is a sophisticated "Body on Frame" construction, where the body shell rides on a separate high-tensile steel chassis frame. Unlike monocoque SUVs where the cabin and chassis are one, the GX 460's enormously strong lower frame shrugs off twisting forces when driving over rough terrain.

Advanced Driving Systems
AVS (Adaptive Variable Suspension system) in the Lexus GX minutely controls the damping force of the shock absorbers independently on each of the four wheels, providing excellent stability, control and ride comfort in various driving conditions. You can choose your preferred setting from Sport, Normal and Comfort Modes.
First Class Luxury
The Lexus GX 460 is a study in contrasts. Outside, the impression is of strength, ruggedness and resolve. Inside, the seven-seat leather luxury is a sumptuous cabin designed to anticipate and answer your every need. Take, for instance, the advanced air conditioning. As the driver and passengers may have different heating or cooling requirements, the GX 460 has three completely separate climate control zones (driver, front passenger & rear).

The Lexus GX 460 is one of the most capable 4WD vehicles ever built. At its heart is a full-time 4WD system that gives maximum traction on slippery surfaces like snow, mud, and ice, while a rugged new TORSEN LSD (Limited Slip Differential) automatically directs power to the wheels that need it most.
Effortless V8 Power
Specially developed to fulfill the vehicle's "Dual Concept", the Lexus GX 460's powerful 4.6-liter V8 gasoline engine offer both extraordinarily smooth on-road performance and incredible torque for off-road driving.
Rear Air Suspension
The electronically controlled rear air suspension in the Lexus GX enables you to adjust vehicle height, with switch operation allowing you to choose between three modes, High mode for good ground clearance in off-road driving, Normal Mode for everyday on-road driving, and Low Mode for easy access when getting in and out.
Safety
360° Protection
The Lexus GX 460 has been engineered to achieve class-leading safety performance. High tensile steel has been used throughout to produce a stiff structure that is very effective at absorbing energy in a collision. The GX 460 also features ten SRS airbags as standard, including front seat SRS knee airbags and SRS side airbags in the outboard second row seats. Running the length of the cabin, SRS curtain shield airbags are programmed to inflate in a rollover situation, helping to protect occupants from impact with the side of the vehicle.
Blind Spot Monitor System
The system uses quasi-millimeter-wave radars mounted in the rear bumper of the Lexus GX to detect vehicles in adjacent lanes, and the moment a vehicle enters a blind spot, it warns the driver an indicator in the relevant door mirror.
